A.I.R. Installation Walkthrough

Insert DVD 1 into computer and launch Ambience Impacts Rhythms installer/setup application
To fully operate A.I.R. 4 main applications will need to be installed. These applications can all be installed from the Ambience Impacts Rhythms setup/installer.

After entering the serial number provided within the packaging
You will be prompted to install Kontakt Player 2 (the main application/plugin you load to use A.I.R.) make sure you select your Applications (mac) or Program Files (PC) folder for kontakt player 2 (this should already be the default location when prompted)

After kontakt player 2 is installed it will next ask you where to install the A.I.R. instruments and samples. Please note these can be installed on any volume and are 6.2 GB in file size. Please keep a mental note of where you are installing these files because the contents on DVD 2 will manually need to be transfered to this folder later on.

After the A.I.R. contents from DVD 1 are finished transferring you will then have the opportunity to install service center. This is the application that will need to be installed to authorize A.I.R. and other kontakt player 2 products. If you have already installed service center from another kontakt player 2 product you can skip this process. Please note you will also need to install Flash player 8 when prompted. (Flash player 8 is the software that drives service center). Once all 4 applications (kontakt player 2, A.I.R. instruments and samples, Flash player 8, and Service center) are properly installed please insert DVD 2

Once DVD 2 is loaded you will find a series of .nkx and .nkc files. Select all of the files on DVD 2 and transfer them to the destination you selected to install the A. I. R. instruments and samples. Thus, the contents on DVD 2 are transfered into the "Ambience Impacts Rhythms" folder that you installed from DVD1. Once the files finish transferring you should then authorize the software by launching Service Center. (if you do not choose to authorize immediately you will be granted a 30 day demo period before the program will expire)
Service Center is located
Mac: Applications > NI Service Center
PC: C:/Program Files/Native instruments/NI Service Center, or can be located within the Start task menu under NI Service Center

When opening Service center for the first time you may be prompted to update the software please proceed and allow the software to update if needed. In order to register using service center you will be required to login to service center. If you are a first time user of service center you will be required to create a login username and password. Once registered you can then login to service center and select the Ambience Impacts Rhythms application by checking it in the check box and clicking next to finish authorization. Once the product is finished authorizing you are ready to run Kontakt Player 2. A.I.R. can be loaded from kontakt player 2 standalone software or from the Kontakt player 2 AU, DXI, RTAS VST plugins. When loading kontakt player 2 for the first time the Audio/MIDI settings will pop up. Make sure you activate the proper Audio/MIDI configurations for your setup because at default all MIDI is turned off. Once your settings are correct you are good to go.
