"I came across The Elements and A.I.R. in one of the many magazines we get here at the studio. Because I'm always looking for great new sounds, we ordered both. Normally I'm impressed with a few patches in any given library and the rest I could live without, but I was so happy to find that I was blown away by a majority of BOTH Elements and AIR. Simply great great patches. Sample Logic has very quickly shot to the top of my list for "go to" sounds and flavors. Elements and A.I.R. made the writing process for two recent projects, "Not Forgotten" and "Crossing Over", very fresh and fun. So, needless to say, my expectations were high for Synergy. They earned it.
However, we were going through a transition process in the studio, moving to Intel machines, so I had a copy of Synergy sitting in my inbox for over a month before getting to dive into it. Like having to wait to open presents on Christmas, VERY worth the wait. I think what impresses me the most about Sample Logic's instruments, aside from the brilliant sounds, is their organization. We work long and hard here to get our various libraries well organized so that finding sounds is easy and painless. Sample Logic, and Synergy specifically, has taken this to a whole new level. Melodic, Harmonic, Ambience, Impacts, Pads, then further subsets of descriptions...it's all laid out with composers in mind. It's incredibly intuitive. When I reach for sounds in Synergy, I'm never disappointed. And the "Crash" television show can vouch for that."
