Mark Isham

Mark Isham

(Award winning film and TV composer)

Sample Logic has very quickly shot to the top of my list for “go to” sounds and flavors. Elements and A.I.R. made the writing process for two recent projects, “Not Forgotten” and “Crossing Over”, very fresh and fun.

I think what impresses me the most about Sample Logic’s instruments, aside from the brilliant sounds, is their organization. We work long and hard here to get our various libraries well organized so that finding sounds is easy and painless. Sample Logic, has taken this to a whole new level.

James Newton Howard

(Green Lantern, The Prince of Tides, The Fugitive, King Kong, I Am Legend)

Sample Logic’s new libraries are full of unique and interesting colors for my palette. We spend a lot of time creating new custom sounds for our films as the usual libraries are lacking but Synergy, Elements and Air are all well programmed and very useful. Well done.

Rumble

Trevor Morris

(The Tudors, Bad Boys II, The Pillars of the Earth, The Hills Have Eyes II, The Borgias, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl)

“Sample Logic’s Rumble has to be one of the more unique libraries to come out in a long time. Fresh and inspiring, its hard to use it  and not get inspired immediately. Which is in  the end what it’s all about for me”

Scott johnson

(Award-winning head drum instructor for the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps)

“What an incredible vocabulary of Percussion sounds to have as a composer and arranger. Thank you Rumble”

Jim Wunderlich

(Front Ensemble Caption Head and arranger for  the World Champion Concord Blue Devils)

“Sample Logic & the Blue Devils have parked us on the bridge between the marching percussion world & the cinematic world. Incredible!”

Cinematic Guitars

Trevor Morris

(The Tudor, Chase, Pillars of the Earth)

“Sample Logic has done it again!  Cinematic Guitars is an extremely rich and robust library, that once again captures my first and most important requirement from sample libraries: Gravitas. It has a weight and feel to it  that I responded to immediately.”

Bill Brown

(sole composer of CSI: New York, movies include Ali, Finding Forrester, and Any Given Sunday)

“The filmic, guitar-based rhythms, phrases and ambiences in Cinematic Guitars, along with some interesting new scripted and tempo-based effects, are definitely enough to inspire.”

Deane Ogden

(Hit List, The Way Home, Surrogates, The Sensei)

“Playability is always my #1 concern with any sample library.  Again,  Sample Logic has knocked it out of the park with Cinematic Guitars. With the very detailed subtleties of these instruments fronted by what might be the most tweakable user interface ever, Cinematic Guitars is a game-changer on a lot of levels.”

AIR Expanded

Bill Brown

(sole composer of CSI: New York, movies include Ali, Finding Forrester, and Any Given Sunday)

“I really like the interface for A.I.R. – useful, simple, and intuitive.. I can twist any of the sounds into something new in just seconds without having to dig down into the patches. The rhythms and electronic pulses are punchy, organic, tight and always funky – and tempo synced! I also found many impacts and ambiences in A.I.R. that are dynamic, interesting and useful. For me, A.I.R. is a nice addition to current sample libraries.. and still has it’s own unique sound.”

Gerard K. Marino

(composer GOD OF WAR, GOD OF WAR II)

“I’m sure that within a year you wont be able to turn on the TV, the radio, your game console, or visit your local multiplex without hearing A.I.R. in the music.”

Morphestra

Rupert Gregson-Williams

The guys over at samplelogic have done it ! – surprised me. I am looking forward to using MORPHESTRA on my next movie score. Finding original sounds to use while writing is essential and inspiring. MORPHESTRA is going to be my new go-to tool.”

Jesper Kyd

I was really surprised at how cinematic and dramatic these instruments are. A highly cinematic original tool set with an impressive range of instruments“

Mark Isham

Sample Logic has impressed me yet again with Morphestra… they´ve certainly outdone themselves with these sounds.  When I´m scoring, looking for elements and sounds to add to the palette, I need diversity.  This is an incredibly diverse library and it will see some heavy use here for quite some time.  Well done gentlemen!

Synergy

Mark Isham

Award winning Film and TV composer whose credits are to long to list.

“Synergy specifically, has taken organization to a whole new level. Melodic, Harmonic, Ambience, Impacts, Pads, then further subsets of descriptions…it’s all laid out with subsets of descriptions…it’s all laid out with composers in mind. It’s incredibly intuitive. When I reach for sounds in Synergy, I’m never disappointed. And the “Crash” television show can vouch for that.”

Brian Transeau – BT

“I’ve been a fan of SampleLogic’s products in the  past.  Both AIR and Elements are staples in my  sound library but Synergy raises the bar.  These sounds are great: very musical, flawlessly programmed and they lend themselves really well to further sound design exploration with plug-ins.  Highly recommended!”

The Elements EXP

Jason Graves

“The Elements is my secret weapon of go-to instruments when I need creative, interesting and easily-tweakable sounds. They sit perfectly in the mix and add just the right amount of drama to my compositions.”

David Lawrence
