What is Quadra
Four corners. One move.
Quadra is a morphing multi-effect that puts four complete effect worlds in the four corners of a glowing XY Morph Pad and blends between them as you move. One move can carry a dry vocal into a shimmering cathedral, a tight drum loop into a stuttering, crushed machine, or a simple pad into a slow, evolving soundscape.
Each corner of the pad holds its own effect chain, and the position of the point decides how much of each chain you hear. Move the point and the sound travels smoothly from one world to the next. Because the point can move by itself, Quadra turns static parts into living ones: a guitar that slowly opens into a granular cloud, a synth line that pulses between dub echoes and lo-fi grit on every bar, a vocal that blooms into space on the final chorus. It is as much a performance instrument as it is a mix tool.
Four Chains, 22 Effects
Stack up to four effects in every corner, chosen from 22 processors: lush reverbs, shimmer, tape and dub delays, convolution spaces, granular clouds, spectral freeze, modal resonators, filters, drive, wavefolding, lo-fi grit, rhythmic gates and pulses, and more. Each corner is a complete chain, and the XY Morph Pad blends all four in real time.
The Motion Engine
Four ways to move. Manual lets you glide by hand. Auto rides a looping shape. Draw records your own path on the pad. Steps sequences a 16-step pattern locked to your host’s tempo, with swing. Every mode can be saved and recalled as a Motion Preset, and Morph X and Morph Y can be automated in any DAW for complete control.
Layered Randomize
Hit the die for a brand new sound in a single click. Quadra builds every roll from combinations Sample Logic has tested for level and for clicks, so each result is usable. Love it? Save it. Not quite? One Undo takes you back.
Real Spaces, Built In
The Convolution effect comes with 81 impulse responses across five categories: Ambient, Rhythmic, Rooms, SFX and Short. Browse them right inside the effect, view the impulse, trim its start or play it in reverse.

Quadra ships with more than 630 factory presets. 150 Master Presets across 12 styles each deliver a finished, moving sound, from Ambient Spaces and Shimmer and Air to Broken Machines and Grit and Drive. Hundreds of Chain, Effect and Motion Presets give you building blocks for your own.

Do you like effects that swirl, drift, and pulse, that lock to tempo, that you can animate with an X-Y pad or step sequencer? If so, then QUADRA is the final boss you must face. A big collection of great-sounding effects algorithms with a fantastic modulation system, capable of results ranging from subtle to intense. Great stuff!
Quadra is very unique for an FX plug-in. A beautiful interface that is super easy to understand, yet can create very intricate rhythmic options. It feels closer to an instrument in capabilities than just an FX plug-in. A lot of fun to explore.
Quadra is now my favorite toy toolbox. Kudos to the X/Y Axis morphing adjuster making endless possibilities for completely destroying your sound or just simply attenuating a little bit of craziness. Bravo Sample Logic!
